CELO inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Guanajuato, Mexico, with the goal of strengthening its production capacity and serving customers in North America more closely. The facility is focused on high-performance fastening solutions for sectors such as automotive, electronics, medical, and industrial.

The plant is located 30 minutes from downtown Querétaro and covers an area of 2,238 m², integrating offices, a production area, and a warehouse. According to the company, the site was designed to support operational excellence and improve its response capacity in the region.

The facility holds ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications, relevant standards for manufacturing and the automotive industry. It also incorporates advanced machinery that will allow it to reach an annual capacity of up to 250 million screws.

With this operation, CELO strengthens its presence in the Mexican market, where it has operated since 2013. Before the plant began operations, the company maintained activities in the country through a logistics center and a commercial office, from which it advanced toward establishing local manufacturing capabilities.

The new plant also expands CELO’s global manufacturing network, which includes facilities in Spain, the United States, China, Germany, and Mexico, as well as 10 logistics centers on four continents. With this expansion, the company strengthens its supply capacity in North America and consolidates its operation in a strategic region for specialized manufacturing.
