Our innovation stems from a complete re-development of the pre-polymer structure. These modifications and improvements give our coatings incredible physical charactersistics not seen anywhere else. The curing mechanism of our product radically changes the conditions it needs for application, making it extremely versatile.
Rivera Coatings' improvement of the pre-polymer structure allows for several key innovations. The first is the ability of the coating to cure at much larger film thicknesses than previously seen in a moisture cure coating. This foundational key gives way to the revolutionary 2 coat system which eliminates the need for an intermediate. Higher film thicknesses mean more corrosion protection, which this product is especially tailored for.
The second key improvement is the product's radical change in its curing mechanism. This in itself is a momentous movement forward in the technology because it allows for much wider curing conditions than previously seen. Regular moisture cure systems are extremely sensitive to application conditions, and any irregularity may be cause for disaster - and thus a loss of product and money for the applicator. Rivera Coatings, however, eliminates many of those of those application restrictions due to the fundamental change in our product's curing process. This improvement allows for application on very cold and very hot substrates without dewpoint restrictions.
